Fire rated glass.
Our range of thermally toughened fire-rated glass meet every requirement and offer protection from flames and smoke, with the option to reduce radiated heat. These interlayered fire protection safety glasses ensure complete protection from conducted heat by limiting temperature rise for a particular length of time.
They stand out with their transparency and excellent UV stability during their whole life-span. As safety glasses, they are suitable for personal safety in buildings and due to their extreme robustness the risk of breakage is also reduced, which makes fast and cost-effective installation possible. All of our products acheive class A in BS6206, and the highest safety rating in EN12600.
We can also supply fire-rated sealed units to meet your exact glazing requirement.
SGG Pyroswiss.
Protection from fire, smoke and toxic gases. Multifunctional without having to compromise between safety and appearance. Available as a 6, 8, 10, 12 or 15mm toughened product depending on the barrier loading required.
In event of a fire:
Remains transparent.
Fire resistance: 30 minutes.
SGG Pyroswiss Extra.
Special substrate float glass for high duration fire ratings. A light and slim product with enhanced mechanical stability. Available as a 6 or 8mm toughened product.
In event of a fire:
Remains transparent.
Fire resistance: 60 minutes.
SGG Vetroflam.
Double glazed unit that incorporates a 6mm toughened and a coated Vetroflam pane. Reduces radiated heat due to a neutral coating. Can be easily combined with other products in double glazed unit form.
In event of a fire:
Remains transparent.
Fire resistance: 60 minutes.
SGG Contraflam Lite.
Toughened glasses offer increased mechanical strength and reduce the risk of breakage during transport and installation. Designed for large pane sizes for internal and external use as well as being UV-stable.
In event of a fire:
Forms an opaque layer.
Fire resistance: 60 minutes.
SGG Swissflam Lite.
Excellent safety and UV resistant properties. The product can be double glazed if desired, making possible the combination of acoustic, low-emissivity and safety functions.
In event of a fire:

SGG Contraflam.
Satifies the highest demands in fire protection. Robust in handling, with interlayers that turn opaque. UV stable and with numerous variations available, both decorative and multifunctional.

Transparent fire protection laminated safety glass with interlayers that turn opaque and expand in a fire situation. Available as a 16mm or 25mm intumescent laminate with PVB laminated glass panes.
